Graduation Clearance

1. This is to inform all December 2020 graduating students that clearance has already started in the Schools/Institutes/Faculty/Centres and the clearance status can be accessed through the student portal.
2. In order to qualify for clearance you need to have fulfilled all academic requirements, cleared fees and your name should be on the graduation list.
3. The clearance process starts at the Schools/Institutes/Faculty/Centres for undergraduate students, the graduate school for Graduate students and ends at the Registrar’s Office.
4. In order to be cleared by the Registrar, you MUST have been cleared in all the following stations:

• Dean of students ,
• Graduate school (for graduate students only)
• Faculty/Schools/Institutes/Centres
• Finance
• Library
• Halls of residence
• Sports and games

5. Once the above stations have been cleared, you can send your request (name, registration number and degree programme) for clearance to the Registrar, CHSS through the following email: chss-clearance@uonbi.ac.ke
6. In case you need the physical clearance certificate, you may send a separate email once you have confirmed clearance has been done on your student portal. An electronic copy will be scanned and emailed to you.

NB: DUE TO THE PREVAILING CIRCUMSTANCES, PHYSICAL VISIT TO THE COLLEGE REGISTRAR AND OTHER ATTENDANT OFFICES FOR CLEARANCE IS HIGHLY DISCOURAGED.
