The School of Business successfully held its 10th African International Business and Management Conference (AIBUMA) from October 23rd and 24th, 2019 at the Lower Kabete Campus.
The college of Humanities and Social Sciences hosted three conferences during the research week such as 2nd Annual Nairobi International Multidisciplinary Conference, Value-Creating Education and Critical Thinking in a Global Word and 2nd Annual Conference on the Status of African Women. The conferences provided an opportunity for researchers to present their papers and findings.
The department of political science and public administration hosted a conference on China-African relations where they deliberated on critical issues, explored alternative of doing business and strengthening relations between the Nations. Sino-African relations are a vibrant, two-way dynamic in which both sides adjust to policy initiatives and popular perceptions emanating from the other. China's role in Africa defies conventional stereotypes and punchy news headlines.
